Dear Parents and/or Guardians,
Hello! My name is Ms. Daljevic and I am looking forward to teaching your child English Language Arts at AlMadina Language Charter Academy.
As an individual, I sincerely believe that education is the principle means to better oneself, and thus; the world. As a teacher, I hope to instill these values in my students as well as guide them towards developing a personal drive for academic excellence and lifelong learning.
These core values of mine correspond with the themes selected for English Language Arts. This year, students will learn the necessary English language skills while exploring contemporary social issues, current events and global perspectives. Through this exploration, students will develop their capacity, confidence and passion to become responsible global citizens that strive to better themselves and their world. They will also gain the necessary skills and attitudes to aid them in all of their disciplines.
Your role, as a parent or guardian, is of extreme importance to me. I believe that your child’s success is often dependent on our collaboration together. I ask you to please read this outline and uphold the expectations and responsibilities’ of your child. Also, I encourage you to reach me anytime regarding questions and/or concerns. I am available by email, telephone, and a scheduled meeting (details listed below). I look forward to working together to ensure your child’s success.
Sincerely,
Ms. Daljevic
